Simon Foster – Vision Statement
From Spiritual formation to cultural transformation
I am firstly a lover of God and a devoted follower of Jesus with a desire to see His kingdom come.
I have a building prophetic gift with experience in cultivating a supernatural environment which catalysts and mobilises the church.
I have an apostolic leadership perspective with the capacity to raise leaders that foster strategic engagement both inside and outside the church.
I am a creative strategic thinker and a passionate communicator with a deep desire to engage minds and hearts in discovering the truth of God, both Word and Spirit.
I have experience of and have been successful in cultivation and development of fruitful discipleship initiatives.
I have a strong compassion for people with a meaningful experience of the development of pastoral strategy and care ministries.
I have experience in vision casting and implementing, recruiting, motivating and developing leaders, managing and handling building projects, setting and implementing budgets.
I believe Gods dream is greater than just having a thriving church and beleiving He has plans to see every area of culture infected with His goodness and Glory. I carry a strong conviction that it is possible for broken people (the church) to reveal His beauty in the midst of a fractured world. I beleive we are called to a gospel that is big enough for everyone. I desire to see the church work with others to supply the destiny of the community. To move from working in the City to working with the City. My conviction is that the Church of the future will move from expressions of ministry into their mandate of spiritual authority. The Church of the future will not be intimidated or impressed with culture but she will recognize and reclaim the good in culture, moving from being relevant to authentically innovative. I have a strong sense that this is God’s invitation to us to partner with His Spirit to see all things made new.
There is evidence that my orientation to the prophetic has shaped my life and the lives of those I have been privileged to lead. The desire to know God’s heart and ways has opened up all manner of strategic insights that have shifted culture and shaped communities. I have been blessed to see all He can do and have learned to value what He has given me. My desire for His presence and for people has equipped me to give away what I have been given lead prophetically.
